I came across grandma in Mcevoy today, today bu pure chance. When I drive through the area, I had elsewhere else, but could not get a car park. I focus, I spotted grandma's and pulled in. So glad that I did it. A merger of cafe, bakery and providence it was hard without walking a few tins of biscuits that have disappeared quickly in the office. I will definitely drop in the area whenever.

Really pleasing experience with good food and good coffee. Friendly service that makes it more pleasant. When the food arrived, it was beautifully displayed and absolutely delicious. The bakery offered a wide selection of home treats and recommend the chocolate volcano cake with salted caramel. Absolutely mouthwash !!!

If you ever wonder who the "Grandma" actually is, come to any of their two branches to find out. The Grandma's offers home style cooking using some of the raw ingredients from their own farm. The restaurant also emphasizes health eating like low salt diet and they only use olive oil for their dishes. The Grandma's at McEvoy has a very spacious and friendly ambient surrounded by lots of greens. The place is not just a restaurant but also a bakery and sometimes a catering kitchen. You may find customers from young couples to a big group of families. A kids corner is much needed to let the kids let loose and the adults to have a better ease of mind. Apart from dining in, surprisingly there is a wide range of products for take away including the baked goods, sauce and jams, packaged meals, frozen pita bread, soup, olive oils of course, and so much more! Their housemade desserts can also be found in the fridge to fix your sweet tooth! Rejuvenate yourself with some healthy juice, fruity smoothies, or naughtier shakes. And you can never go wrong with Grandma's roasted coffee! Left: Fertiliser frappe $7.50 - healthy cleansing combo between kale, cucumber, apple, lemon, parsley Right: Banana smoothie $7.50 - cinnamon-y not too sweet goodness made with banana, yogurt, milk, vanilla syrup, cinnamon Jerusalem Hummus and beef dish $16.50 Being a total hummus obsess recently, I have been trying to find the best hummus in Sydney. Grandma is from Egypt which makes me even more anticipated with her version of Jerusalam Hummus. Turned out it's thick, creamy, dense, just the way I prefer it. The delicious chickpea paste is beautifully complimented with the minced beef and it is served with Grandma’s bread and a bit of spicy tahini. The fluffy light pita bread is the never wrong with the rich hummus and tihini. A mix of health on a plate is what it is. Open Fired Eggplant Shakshuka $18.90 Grandma's promotes a lot of vegetarian dishes and shakshuka is one of their popular dishes. A skillet of baked eggs cooked in a sauce made of open fired eggplant and tomatoes served with Labane' cheese dressing. I liked that it is not too salty and the taste of fresh sweet and sour tomato is quite prominent with the subtle mint of eggplant taste. The oozing egg and sauce bonded everything together. Don't miss out on their yellowish housemade bread because turmeric has been added to it and it is crunchy from the toasted sesame on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The hummus that is served on the side is slightly different from the hummus dish because it is even thicker with a strong smokey aroma. Yeh, it's all about scrapping at Grandma's. Hazelnut Cream Mud Cake Though they ran out of their infamous Vocano chocolate lava cakes, there are still lots of great options from the fridge and we have picked this hazelnut cake. The layered cake has a good balance from the chocolate cake, thick hazelnut cream, then topped with crunchy hazelnut on top. It's almost like a healthier option to Nutella, but in a constructed form. Indulging and great for sharing, or just have it all by yourself! Grandma's is a great choice of healthy food at an affordable price. Besides, catering service is also available if you wish to have a great party anywhere anytime you want! blogger-hk.blogspot.com

?????????? @ Grandmaau ??????????? ???? Grandmas Chocolate Volcano Cake: Popular 80s Volcano Cake with Salted Caramel Center ???? . Some venues only have this court that everyone who comes about orders and photographs. This judgment is this dish for grandma. But not only aesthetic in the appearance, this cake is wonderful when it is heated and the molten caramel center as a breakthrough of the outer layer. Definitely a highlight for me ???????????????????? com

I would have grandmother A 4 if the service was half decent. When we arrived, we were told that they were "busy", so we stood there that we wait for a table. Mind you, there were tables free. It was just a question of them, which was cleaned. Compared to other restaurants, they were not busy at all and had plenty of employees. Our food lasted about 30-40 minutes. We ordered 2 spinach Shukshoukas, 1 original Shukshouka and the mushroom of Homus. We were all happy with our Shukshouka, but the Homus was a huge letdown (especially someone who has a Lebanese background), there was a lot of salt and was too greasy. We had to mix it by ourselves and add salt. It tasted in order, but still underwater. I suspect that the staff was too busy, employed that the "gourmets" feel welcome next to us. It seemed as if a food blogger had come in and they had stolen all attention - to the point where the café owner sat down with them. They knew little that the 3 of us also evaluate food, so it was sad to see the difference in the service based on "status". The menu for grandmas is incredible, there is a lot of there because I like to try, but I'm not sure if the MistService returns.

I came across Grandma's At McEvoy today bu pure chance. Driving through the area, I had somewhere else in mind but couldn't get a parking spot. Driving on, I spotted Grandma's and pull in. So glad I did. A fusion of cafe, bakery and providore, the staff were pleasantly attentive, the food was fresh and the menu offered a genuinely interesting range of hand made food. It was hard to leave without a couple of tubs of cookies which quickly disappeared back at the office. I'll definitely be dropping in whenever in the area.
