I would like this cafe to be successful because it is different , it looks nice, and someone has thought about creating a special place. BUT , there are a few things that could be improved on. I came and wanted just a little savoury snack, something not big , not expensive to have with a coffee . I struggled to find something . The sweet selection was quite limited ,so it was down to a big dish or nothing really. The bench seating was uncomfortable , hard and lacking cushions the service was a bit mumsy and the coffee came out so slow it made me wonder how long it might take if I did order food. It was not good coffee and top dollar . I wanted to try the food one evening , Persian food can be wonderful , but the dishes are just a little expensive to lure me back in , plus the tables are a little small and the space a tad tight and seats a bit hard to make paying the price worth it for me. This cafe does not quite hit the spot with its cafe menu . I would like to see more affordable snack items that are persian influenced for under ten dollars to have with a drink . Why dont you try some little sandwiches made with that wonderful Persian noon barbari ....? Or a little baked savoury pastry ? Something with eggplant , mint , lamb perhaps ? I went to try as most locals will ...once. I do want you to succeed ,but feel you may have not quite hit the spot with your menu , coffee quality , service and pricing . try asking patrons for feedback on the menu , you might find you will get good ideas to improve your business and get those bums on seats , as they say.

The service was the best I've ever had and the ambience was just so relieving. The food was a big factor for me and it blew my mind, every meal kept getting better and better. The baklava especially was amazing and they allowed me to take a picture :) overall amazing experience and 100% worth a visit

I'm absolutely amazed by the quality of their food. The staff were so welcoming, the place looks so aesthetically pleasing and the food exceeded my expectations immensely. I honestly never review places like this but the little Persian cafe is just honestly so good

Had breakfast here as we had been trying for weeks, but it had not been open at the weekend early up until now. So we actually booked a table to be sure. First up the coffee was good, bold & rich & reminded me of Turkish coffee, however it was a local Montville roast & we had double shots. We were hoping for a Persian breakfast, but on the menu there wasn't a lot of authentic fare. I noticed on the blackboard a Persian omelette so went for that. It was a little dry & as Manu would say needs sauce. However in this instance I would have expected at least a hummus type dip or a salsa for my Persian bread which came with the omelette. Service was very nice & they seem to be a family. The sweets which were offered outside on a plate were delicious

a month ago My favourite Persian restaurant in brisbane. The food tests like my mum's cooking ????????✅ the service is a bit slow, but it is worth the wait ???? don't go there if you're in rush! Make sure you try "ADDAS POLO (GF) (V)" you may ask them to add saffron chicken ???? ???? This is the one which is realy recommended for Persian food lover.

I'm going to echo the greater bulk of reviews so far by saying this eatery is overpriced and understaffed. Neither the quality nor quantity of the food justified the prices charged. One has to wonder what this level of price gouging is covering given the minimal, obviously family based staff. If you're up for it, maybe go for the cafe and some of the smaller items - the rest can be disregarded until they rethink their business model.

Waitress was friendly. Food was nothing special for the price paid. I tried contacting them about this but no reply. Spanish Omlette sounded good but was heavily flavoured with dried uncooked herbs. Bacon and egg roll was just that, you expect it to have a bit of something special when its on a plate. Coffee ok.

Cruiser's Café & Bar delivery

Cruiser's Café & Bar

I dined at Cruisers recently and it was a very positive and enjoyable experience. Our host and owner Michael and his staff were very welcoming and attentive to our needs. I had the naughty pork crackling and cheesy garlic bread for starters, the eye fillet steak for main and a selection of desserts to finish off with. The pork crackling was cooked to perfection, light and crispy from start to finish with just the right dusting of salt (I felt very naughty after eating two pieces). The cheesy garlic bread was cheesy and garlicky and quite delicious too. I ordered the eye fillet - medium rare with (field) mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes and veggies which comprised of a well proportioned side of sauteed broccoli. The steak was cooked beautifully. It was tender and delicious as was the mushroom sauce. I ordered a piece of raspberry and white chocolate gateau (freshly made earlier that same day) to go, which they happily set aside in a take away container with a generous helping of fresh cream. I later finished the gateau off in very quick fashion as it was scrumptious. It was solid yet light, not sickly sweet but again just right. In the meantime back at Cruisers we (a table of five) shared the passionfruit cheesecake and chocolate fudge brownie/cookie with ice cream for dessert. Both equally scrumptious. I particularly like cheese cake and their passionfruit cheesecake was delicious. I fought hard to not eat more than my fair share (I may have failed). Pricing was commensurate with quality of food and the location.

I definitely recommend Cruisers to anyone wanting a delicious meal in a relaxing environment at a reasonable price. I will definitely be going again.
