Viva la Vodka

Handy location but nothing spesh. Beer is cheaper elsewhere. We got some hot bar snacks and it was so so, but overpriced. The basement lounge area is pretty cool though.

I discovered this place as I was exploring Fortitude Valley recently and when I first stepped inside I was really impressed. Basically it is a craft beer bar, but come 9:00 pm on the weekend it turns into a nightclub that plays some pretty cool beats. They have a cellar bar with is dark and dingy, something which always impresses me, as well as an outdoor area on the mall. Before 9:00 they serve food, and have a number of specials, depending on the day of the week. They don't have just one bar, but three, including a Vodka bar next door, which has a wide selection of vodka available. I have to say that this is an awesome place and would highly recommend people check it out.

A group of us descended on Barbara during a bar-hop for my birthday late last year.

I was in this club at 10 o'clock. I was last night on 2nd september with my friend to dinner and we decided after dinner to go to her house at 9 o'clock to have a drink. we had two drinks and had a good time to approx. 10 o'clock when I had to use the bathroom. at my return, my friend was harassed by two young men who she repeatedly said to leave. a guy went away and the other went on to touch me inappropriately on the chest. I pushed his hand from me and my friend and I decided to go because we no longer feel comfortable in her bar. the guy followed us to the doorstep and when I turned around to see where he was, I was in the face and on my hot. Instead of making a big thing, I approached the bouncer at the doorway at our way and told him that I was thrown up from the guy who was right behind us. the bouncer went to talk to the kerl (at this point we were on the road that looked back) to our wonder they looked friends to be or were not too phased about what just happened, I went back to the bouncer and said again the kerl has looked at my face and hemd caresed (Wet-Evidence was on the top of my bodes simply to if this is the type of device they run, it is very disappointing as we had a good time at the beginning. it is a pity that her personal does not take any measures to such disgusting and lively behavior. I live in the fortitude valley and do not recommend to visit this bar, the personal and the business will get away from the others when something happens here. much better bars than these.
