Canberra lacks a good Yiros/Souvlaki place so I couldn't wait to try this place. I had the lamb. Unfortunately the meat was dry and tasted like next day reheated lamb roast. It was nothing like the Yiros I grew up loving. I'm pretty sure the co-founders would not have accepted what was served on my plate. The pita was lovely, the service was fantastic, and the overall fit out is pretty good. There is potential and I think I will go back there one day for a second chance but not in the immediate future.

Tried this place for the first time today. Inside was pleasant in the sun out of the cold but it was not a great dining experience. Order at the counter and meals are delivered to your table. We had a beef pita each (Athenian and spicy beef) and a side of chips (seasoned with fetta and oregano). No drinks and a total of just over $30. The chips were minuscule for $9.50 and very bland and the pitas looked about half the size of a normal serve. Mine was advertised as having tomato and parsley...technically correct as there was a tiny sliver of tomato and a single parsley leaf (at least this provided some comedy relief). Just across the road from Lonsdale St with more expensive but far better options. A big no from us!

After a couple of drinks on Lonsdale the bright lights of Zeus caught our eye. We read their menu and mantra and were impressed. Unfortunately that's where the feel good ended. We ordered the chicken souvlaki, soft shell crab pita, pilaf and chips and were totally disappointed. Pita and souvlaki were predominately filled with salad that was dry and tasteless .. we could barely taste the dressing. Chicken was slimey and unpleasant and crab meat was flavourless. The rice was wet and craggy and while the chips were good $41 is an expensive plate of chips. Zeus was a total waste of money and we both felt queasy the next morning . An experience not to be repeated, Awful

We had dinner at Zeus Street Greek in June and we all realy enjoyed our meals. It was hard to get a table, as like many other restaurants in the area it was packed on a Saturday night. Despite the fact there were no free tables in the restaurant our food still came out very quickly. I had the 'Purple Greek' pita which was great. For dessert we shared Honey Loukoumades which were also nice.Perfect place if you're wanting a quick, good value meal with friends.

Chicken spartan...it was ok only. Sides were good but Chicken wasn't charcoal cooked tasting in the slightest. Nice restaurant feel, open and light, the food well presented and out in lightning time....time I wish i could give back to make my chicken rendered and crispy and charcoaly and hot.

Absolutely delicious!!! The pita bread, soft, tasty and mouthwatering. The pita wrapped dishes are well worth it. Good value for money.

Discovered this place one night looking around for takeaway food options with friends in the city. If you are after some quick delicious greek food this is the place to try. But don't let your eyes get control like we did. Ordering dips and sides on top of the mains was way too much food.

Tasty food at reasonable prices served by helpful wait and counter staff. This is a bustling cafe-style restaurant where one lines up to order and pay. Great for a quick lunch and catch-up with friends.
