When is a small mocha worth $4.30? Not when it tastes like it what does at Locomotion! It sort of reminded me of herbal medicine - or maybe that was burnt coffee I was tasting... Sorry to say it, but I think the coffee from Mrs Fields' next door wins today.
One of the first coffee shops you see as soon as you step out of Chatswood station. This place gets fairly busy and they make green tea lattes which I was very excited to try. However the matcha flavour was fairly weak so it was more like sweetened milk.
Freaking slow (EVERY SINGLE TIME!!) and horrible service. I ordered toasts online so I could save time in the morning. I still had to wait there only to find out there was only one tiny toast in the bag. Seriously? Who does that? Who in the right mind prepares ONE slice for customers (when they don't even give you choice to have one or two slices online)?! And it's almost $4! I asked the staff and they just started toasting one more slice without apologising to me. And did I mention they chucked in any toasts they had? I ordered rye and I got one fig and one raisin toast. They're a joke. If this was the first time I wouldn't write about them. But something unpleasant happens with this shop ALL THE TIME. Always end up wasting so much time at this shop in busy mornings. Don't bother going to this shop! The staff is rude and not professional at all!
