Military Chicken and Seafood

When we have a hankering for fish and chips at the beach, this is our place of choice.

Some days you just feel like a hot dog and a chocky milk, and maybe a couple of dim sims and a chiko roll.

Bought fish meal got one piece of fish and two salads. Salads had small piece of tomato,greens in one and the other a Greek salad with one square of feta cheese, no olives which is what Greek salad is usually made up with) and...a slice of cucumber. I might as well have had no salad as the quantity was small and not worth the money.The other two meals purchased were chicken schnitzel hot pack and sausage hot pack. Both were drowned in gravy and had no vegetables. Every other hot pack I have had always had carrots and peas, these had NONE! As for costs they weren’t cheap. We usually got to a shop on Henley beach road where the meals are superb and prices excellent didn’t go to our usual shop as it was closed for Boxing Day holiday). We won’t be returning to Military chicken shop.

We visited this shop on different occasions each time it got worse. They need to change the oil in fryers potato cakes were very dark brown burnt and soooo oily .We never return.

I think that there may be new owners here, but the food and service were still both great. Value for money and a wide selection of meal deals and other ‘specials’. I’m not a chicken person, but that is obviously one of their specialities too....Parking is easy and off road, well worth a try if you are in the area.

I come here regularly for quick takeaway lunch .They have a good selection of burgers and all the usual stuff .Clean prompt service .consistent .

Grabbed some fish and chips from here for the first time, certainly won’t be the last. Had crumbed butterfish, battered whiting, battered butterfish, chikko rolls and chips. The chips were perfection, the fish fillets were decent portions and the family were left satisfied! Really friendly staff and nice prompt service. Good option for fish and chips in the Henley Grange area.
