Whenever we go out on the town Efes is a must. The food is soooo good. Best pizza I've ever had (I always get bbq chicken). The garlic bread has a subtle flavour and is soft on the inside and hard on the outside but not crunchy. They have their own beer which according to my sister was comparable to a corona but my partner said it was good but didn't taste like corona to him at all. The soft drink is WAY overpriced like $3.50 for a 400ml bottle. And though there are toilets on premises, its very shabby and looks unclean, even when it isn't. On the plus side, the guys that work there are very friendly and offer great service.
Great roast meats in the northern suburb. You can expect great value, taste and decent portions here. The roast duck with egg noodles or rice, the roast meat and sweet barbeque pork are must trys!
However, do not expect a good level of service here. The wait staff throws cutlery on your table and they do not give out the sauces when you do take away. Please remember to ask for the sauces!
Due to the business, they forgot our order/lost the docket after waiting for an hour. When it came, they gave us the wrong order and corrected it after more waiting. Coffee is always exceptional however the food was not.

I ordered the truffle mushrooms as a vegan option and had 5 small mushrooms that had some unknown caramelised onion mixture on them with no truffle oil on thin sliced ciabatta that was too crusty. I substituted the eggs with avocado and wasn't charged for the swap so that was good. My partner had the vego breakfast and again swapped the eggs with the potato cake at no extra cost.

Severely disappointed as previously I have been several times and the mushrooms were in abundance and beautifully truffled. As a place that was considered a favourite, I don't think that I'll come here again sadly.
They were so busy that I didn't bother mentioning anything as it was difficult enough to talk to staff as it was.
Came here for lunch on a lazy Sunday afternoon. It was busy, so that was a good indication of the quality and standard on food and service. Our only gripe was that the beer garden was next to a noisy main road. We shared 3 starters:-

Pulled pork filo pastry with apple and currant relish - this was my favourite, the pastry was crisp and flaky, the pork moist and flavoursome and the relish really rounded off the parcels and gave them a nice zing.

Sliders (pork belly, pulled lamb, fish) - nothing to rave about, pulled lamb was nice as was the fish, but the pork was dry. Nice portion of crispy beer battered chips on the side.

Creamy garlic prawns - served with a bit of rice, the prawns were deliciously creamy with just the right amount of heat from the fresh chillies. Just lacked a bit of garlic.

We left feeling very satisfied, will be back.
