El Dorado Pizza Bar

Average pizza with not a lot of flavour but toppings were good not too sparse. Had to ring a couple of times as the staff member who firstly answered couldnt understand our order. Rang back and spoke to a friendly english speaking guy who took...our order. Delivery was quick.

I usually love these pizzas - the supreme has heaps of toppings! But the margherita pizza was SO BAD! It was sliced, tasteless tomato & heaps of cheese, & zero fresh basil - almost inedible! So, order something else!

This place is an icon in the mitcham area! Absolutely sumptuous pizzas and sides! You must try their pizzas when on this side of town!

We live nearby and have at least 3 take away pizza bars within a 2 minute drive. Some are wood oven and others like this one are not. El Dorado thankfully has skilled pizza makers that know how to make a good pizza. Making pizza is not rocket science but you wouldn't believe how many pizza bars get it wrong. Keep up the good work El Dorado!

Watch this place everyone.El Dorado 9" pizza are actually less than that!The box is 8" in size - you do the math.Don't appreciate being ripped off.wont go back there.Pizza is a bit on the undercooked doughy side, so disappointing.the rules are give customers what you advertise. don't like being ripped off.Hence the poor rating

I live in Hawthorn and this joint is just around the corner. I have ordered their Pizza's on a few occasions.The prices are fantastic, and you can watch a coupla black T-Shirted dudes preparing the deal as you wait. Unfortunately, I am from the ''searching for the best, elusive Pizza bar club" and my review has to honour this.The first issue is the oven...one of those gas fired, slide em, slide em out jobs to get the pizza in and out within minutes. Sorry, no good. Good for profits, but crap for taste.Not the old fashioned monster with the big, heavy door ( Goodwood Pizza bar has this...but, they do not know how to make pizza...review coming later.)Second issue, is the dough the guys use....damn....so close to what you want. Crispy underside and nice fluffy inside. Their dough is so close to the best pizza base, but the cooking process is too quick. The base tastes of bread and dough. I rate the pizzas as excellent but undercooked.The ingredients are first class. I believe they use real Mozzarella...not the mixed cheese crap most Pizza bars use. The length of my review makes it obvious that I like this place, but it would fantastic if these guys took the next step and put in a proper oven that pumps out the required heat. Overall, good service, value...but, I need to scorch my pizza in the oven when I get home.
