Fresh tasty sushi and various other Japanese dishes. The eel and rice bowl was super tasty. Will certainly go back and try something else off the menu.

After 6 pm sushi is only $2.50 per roll. The mini platters are as low as $5-7.50. Also not exactly sure the time of day but you can also get a drink and 2 sushi rolls for $10. If you love sushi and are on a budget don't go past this place you will love it!

This is our second visit to this place as it is new and located near our other fave Asian restaurant, which has more value items. However, for a change we visited this place again though the food is priced just a bit higher than the Chinese resto next door. My husband loved his sashimi bento set and my eldest son loved his chicken karaage bento set. They both come with miso soup, sushi and seaweed salad. The servings are generous, for about $15.50 for each set. I had the beef yakiniku which was not as tasty as the first beef dish I ordered the first time. Mine came with the rice bowl, my other son had his chicken karaage with udon noodles soup, which he enjoyed. So as a whole, it was not so bad, I probably got unlucky, aside from waiting the longest, I got the blandest food among us four. I am not sure if I will come back again though, maybe I shall try other Japanese places next time. It was also annoying that the first guy who took my order gave our order to another girl for paying and she had to ask me again whether I am ordering pork or beef as the paper she had just had the number of the dish. I specifically told the guy beef yakiniku but he didn't specify it in our order apparently. It was the first dish I mentioned ( I was starving as always!) But in the end, I got my order last! So a bit weird really! Also, I persuaded my husband to go back to this place (he didn't want to eat here in he first place as the last time he was here, he puked outside after just having a small taste of his food! it was his gastric refrux again! So my hub was just embarrassed to go back.)

This diner used to have so many menu items and the food was so salty I have stopped coming here.

The Americana doesn't fit squarely into a common category of restaurants, but it occupies a curious niche.

good for a hybrid. sushi is fresh and tasty, good customer service and a selection of some good Japanese inspired lunches and bentons as well as a mix of take-off items that I did not try because in not in operation the mill take items but good if they are eating with some not in Japanese foods: have been a few times back, so must be good:
