Mama Manoush

In Melbourne for 36 hours while transiting to Tasmania. Met friend at Mama Manoush for dinner on Friday night. Booked a table at 7:45-good thing we did as it was very crowded. Ordered the small banquet for the three of us-just seemed simpler than ordering a la carte. Was a great decision. Food arrived in two waves, all of the salads and mezza, including pita fresh from the open oven in front of restaurant. All of it was very, very good. Second wave was chicken and lamb skewers which were really tasty as well. Accompanied by best fattouch we have ever had. Friendly staff, nice venue. Since we had not seen the friend in person for two years we lingered for over two hours and never felt like we were being rushed out. Just a very enjoyable experience.

Mama Manoush is such an amazing place delivering amazing food! This a great place to visit as a couple, big groups or with just a few friends. The atmosphere is great and the service outstanding! We had the banquet and everyone was super happy!

Amazingly delicious , high quality food which is reasonably priced. The service was much much better the last time I visited, the staff was friendly and sending those happy vibes , however this time the staff was not at happy and seemed not so interested. The owners did come to our table in both the visits and are very welcoming and loving. It does add that personal touch and you would want to go back for that. We did get great food in both our Visits.The breads are one of its kind, I have not seen anything like this being served. The chicken wingettes are really good and different to what you would usually get served at a Lebanese \ middle eastern cuisine restaurant. The shish tawook was good , with a generous serve. All mains come with chips n salad.

My favourite place for middle eastern food. Never been disappointed and will return often. Staff are amazing and go above anf beyond for their customers. Bonus tip: order the chicken wings!

Required a Lebanese meal for some friends that had not eaten Lebanese before. Excellent service and attentive staff and the food was very fresh and authentic. Waded was wonderful to deal with at booking and on the night and made sure my guests were taken care of.

Eight of us were welcomed into this buzzy restaurant, where we tried the wine before ordering, the staff so helpful. We decided on the mini banquet menu (thank goodness we didn't select the banquet menu as we had ample food). Beautiful dips with Lebanese bread that came straight put of the oven, puffed up like a big balloon! This was followed by falafel, vegetable puffs, lemon chicken and then salads and chicken and lamb skewers. AND then dessert - baklova and a yummy custard. We waddled out!!

Nicholson St local doing generally honest, tasty and generous food. Bread fresh from the oven; mezzo sausages full flavoured and moist and great falafel. Meal let down only by the bland, homogeneous trio of dips....a real shame as it's not that hard to get right. Nice and plentiful pickles though, a good range of beers and friendly service.
