Go and enjoy a scrummy pizza or tasty pasta dish at this very popular family restaurant.....don't forget to start with one of their amazing focaccia's and eggplant chips! Everything is always fresh and satisfying.

We we're going to a venue which started at 6.30pm and decided to find a restaurant or cafe to eat prior to this time as we knew we wouldn't get a chance to eat until after 9.30pm. Restaurants and cafe's can close at 4.00pm and reopen at 6.00pm; always a difficult time to find somewhere decent open. Anyway here we are; I ordered mushroom and pork sausage pasta and my wife ordered penne amatriciana. both dishes lacked flavour of any kind and we were very disappointed. I read other reviews which say the pizza is good, and it may well be, but the pasta is rubbish and the wine tasted of disinfectant too? Will definitely NOT go back!

True authentic pizza. A little Italy down the road from Cosi Duci gelato/ice cream shop. The best Italian experience.

Service was efficient and prompt. The pizzas took about 10 minutes to come out, on quite a busy night (Saturday night). They were really delicious pizzas and well-priced (between $18-$22). The menu has a huge range of pizzas to choose from. There could have been more toppings on some of the pizzas, and the sauce could have been spread out more to the sides, but really they were very nice pizzas. The atmosphere in the courtyard was cosy and fairly quiet. Gluten free bases were great - I think it cost $3-4 extra for this option, which is normal. I absolutely love pizza, and have tried a good many gluten free bases, and would definitely recommend Pizzami. I would advise you book in advance if you want to sit in.

Visited this restaurant for a second time recently but was just as disappointed as first time. The quality , small quantity of pasta dishes and overpriced for what we got. Never returning and certainly won't recommend to other possible patrons in local area.

We ate here on a friday night. Gets busy so make sure you book. The woodfired pizzas are absolutely awsome !!! I had the Roberto, my fsvourite.. all fresh ingredients.. good service..

Wood fired pizza and rustic settings; they did a pretty good job at setting the scene of an Italian bistro......in Ivanhoe. We sat in the outdoor section. It's nicely put together but the seriously sloping concrete floor makes for food juggling when dinner arrived. The heaters were cranked right up and made it slightly uncomfortable but that's easily fixed though and not a big deal. Our glass of wine was a nondescript Sangiovese and was fine for $7 a glass and our pizza was delicious. The staff did a good job; they were mostly part timers and were well trained although it seemed to take a while to return to us for our dessert order. Recommend for a nice mid-week outing when you're craving a pizza or pasta dish.
