Was here for lunch. Paid $13 for a baguette and coffee, that were both very tasty. Can definitely recommend.
This was a great find if I may say so. Food is scrumptious. Coffee is very good. Staff ever so friendly. We frequented this cafe several times during our trip and we loved the place and the atmosphere, If your ever in Melbourne visit this cafe and enjoy a relaxing meal.

We were staying in Russell St and found Blu Point Cafe when we wanted a good bacon and eggs breakfast to set us up for the day. Staff were friendly, and attentive, and the food was good quality. Our coffees, hot drinks and milkshakes have always been fine. On our most recent return visit, the staff remembered us, even though it had been more than 12 months. We'll have breakfast here next time we are in Melbourne, too.
A much welcomed pit stop before taking 3 kids to the Old Melbourne Gaol. 2 kids shared a lasagne, 2 adults shared a bagette and one child had a spinach and feta that she couldnt finish. Great and patient service, very resonably priced and great coffee. May be back later to try the sweets.
dropped in out of the cold for a quick coffee, unfortunately coffee was a bit cold also and the other drinks we ordered were average. the couch we sat on should have been taken to the dump :(
The Concept Blue apartment tower fronts onto La Trobe Street. It is attached to the former police building which is accessed from Russell Street and also contains apartments. Blu Point Café is at street level close to the entry to the Russell Street building. The café is handy for apartment residents but also gets business from people staying in the nearby budget hotels. It's said to do a good breakfast. l know it from occasionally being in the area later in the day, for example after being at the State Library or Trades Hall.
