Every time I go to the Cheesecake Shop in Moonee Ponds I get excellent cakes and service. They have the best pavlovas in the world! (Haven't tried any in the rest of the world but just saying hahaha) They are always quick to serve. Then they go away and make the pavlova topping fresh so you need to wait 5 minutes which is just fine because when you see the finished pav you are thrilled. They taste delicious. They are so fresh. Divine! We have bought other cakes as well which have all been excellent but the pav is the best. Highly recommend.

Stumbled across this place by accident while looking for somewhere to eat in North Melbourne. The tacos were very good, to the point where my wife had another 3 with a salad for her main course. I found the enchiladas a bit disappointing. I wouldn't rate this place as 'the best Mexican outside of Mexico'; it's good (may be very good for Australia) but e.g. Californian Mexican restaurants are much better. The service let this place down for me. A group that arrived after us were served first and it was only when another table pointed us out that the waiter came over and spoke to us amd despite asking twice where the beer I ordered was the waiter seemed to have a memory problem and it wasn't until the 2nd course that it arrived.
