Harvest of India North Adelaide

This place is often overlooked as it's situated on O'Connell Street around many other great eateries. I go there about three times a year and I am always impressed. The menu is varied and has many typical favourites (butter chicken, vindaloo, etc) but also has a select few items if you're keen to try something different. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are very happy to accommodate BYO service, so it's a great idea to pop into a bottle shop nearby and pick up your favourite wine to accompany your curry. Have taken visitors from Sri Lanka here and they were very impressed by the presentation and authentic tastes...Great service, clean, and a dining room one can talk and be heard in.....A varied menu that covers all the favourites ..... Staff go out of their way to be helpful.. A handy local inexpensive Indian restaurant, however parking can be tricky to find...

I like to browse the strip when I'm out travelling and since I was staying around the corner from Harvest of India I decided that a restaurant half full at on a Monday evening meant that the food must be good. And it was!...Good, fulsome flavours and a butter chicken that was both aromatic and delicious. Naan bread that was just out of the oven and a good lentil Dahl to supplement my butter chicken. Service was attentive and professional and the value first class.
