With absolutely no disrespect to this place or fast food joints in general but I can't believe I'm writing a review for Red Rooster on Trip Advisor. Yes, I got it delivered. Yes, I'm thinking what you are thinking, yes, lazy lazy lazy, had a crap day at work and finished late. From ordering through menu log to delivery itself, great. I had to ring the restaurant for a minor issue ( my mistake) and friendly call it was. Then the food itself turned up. Fresh, hot and great. Great work guysSpecial mention to Jack

Wr have gone to red rooster at leadt 3 to 4 times it has been good gor something on the go when we can't be bothered cooking. The half roasts are good.
This Red Rooster was impeccably clean on my second visit.I took advantage of a discounted A$6.00 quarter chicken, chips and pineapple fritter offer. All were piping hot and pleasant.Tables were clean and the mid to late 20s male staff member efficient.There were quite a few 'tradies' enjoying lunch but most opted for takeaway rather than the identically priced dine in menu.I caught a route 55 tram to and from: on weekdays during the day, there is one every 12 minutes which is good.
Red Rooster has a very good loyalty card that offers about a 10 to 15 per cent discount but this is only redeemable once the balance on the card is above $2.50.This Red Rooster was busy with tradesmen dining at lunchtime. It has a good amount of car parking with a tram stop (the busy route 55 from West Coburg via the Zoo to Domain Interchange) and bus stop (route 510 Essendon to Ivanhoe) adjacent.The store has been renovated in the last two or three years by the look of the seating and tables.My order of a tropicana pack was quickly taken but took about three or four minutes to be ready. The pineapple fritters were delicious while the chicken was piping hot. The staff member (male) was efficient and the toilet clean and looked to be suitable for disabled persons. Hot water in the toilet worked fine as did the hand dryer.All in all - recommended, but get a loyalty card as this offers A$5 off your second meal purchase and also a free birthday meal.
The chicken selection was pretty bad.. The staff members must be more ethusiastic when they take orders and keep the diners clean. Please improvise the service and presenation and provide innovative menu. Cheers Mates...
