Tried their char siu ramen, the pork was delicious. Soft and tender, nice smoky flavour and plenty of it. Soup was okay, noodles were cooked nicely.

Always on the hunt for yummy lunches near work, now they we moved to Barangaroo the struggle is real my fellow foodies! Now I have to travel the distance to cross to the other side of Wynyard and hike on further still to Pitt Street. So as I wonder around more closer to work I found this little Korean/Japanese eatery that sells a mixture of both cuisines. There is good variety and tempting sushi selection and a selection of noodle and rice dishes. I have tried unagi don and my favourite so far chicken karage curry don! The sushi is quite fresh and a good size. I also got the yakitori stick today and I have to say not a fan. Chicken texture was tough and hard to eat. Now there are complaints about their ramen here and I have to report back unfortunately I saw the chef break out the instant noodle packets today while waiting for my food. So allegations about their ramen is true. ????

Don't go there. Literally every other Japanese place around the city is better. Whilst the sushi looks well presented, it is average. My biggest beef is with their ramen special. It is actually instant noodles, and even using the seasoning from the packet. For something that costs 80c a packet, they charge you $8.50. Granted it comes with chicken, but still not worth it.

Average Japanese eatery run by Koreans in the CBD. I ordered a Chicken Ramen that sadly had the quality of packet noodles. Generous in real chicken pieces that gathered at the bottom. Nevertheless, their sushi looked tasty. May return if walking past again.

When you are hungry and pressed for time, what better food to eat than takeaway sushi rolls. Located right by Wynyard Station, this street side Japanese shop came to my rescue when I needed to find something quick, cheap, and still tasty. In late afternoon everything is discounted and my two delicious rolls only cost $5. The best part the balance between rice and fillings is on point. Both my chilli beef (black rice) and chicken avocado (white rice) are delicious. For a meal on the run, this is perfect for my purpose. thernbdiary.com
